Project background
Within the heritage listed campus of the Kincoppal Rose Bay School a new building was to be constructed to accommodate laboratory facilities for tuition of chemistry, Biology and Physics.
The facilitation of the project required a sensitive response to heritage issues imposed by the authorities, combined with the client’s demand for a modern and technically up to date building.
The new McGuinness Centre comprises 4 tuition laboratories, 1 class room and associated Preparation and Storage areas, all air-conditioned and provided with high end IT systems, linked to the existing buildings.
