Project Background
Following a national 12-month property review prompted by the significant growth of the company, Bendigo Bank embarked on the development of their head office located in the heart of Bendigo.However, to achieve this, the purchase of several buildings in the Bath Lane precinct were required to enable Australia’s only regionally headquartered bank to remain at its existing high profile site.Bendigo Bank required the new headquarters to accommodate 900 corporate staff as well as providing a feature community space.
Scope of services
Gallagher Jeffs was appointed at the outset of the project to receive the client brief and undertake submissions / tender evaluations for the consultant team.
Gallagher Jeffs continued on the project through design development, approvals, leading the contractor tender phase and managing the contractor through to completion.
Outcome
On completion, the project spanned 13,500sqm of NLA and achieved a 5 Star Green Star rating through the use of innovative design, modern technology and intelligent material selection.
