Performing & Media Arts Centre

Background

Yarra Valley Grammar is an independent coeducational school offering over 1000 students learning from ELC through to Year 12 on a single 29 hectare campus in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. As part of their master plan, YVG will construct a new specialist performing arts and media centre which connects to the existing George Wood performing arts centre. The two-level structure will replace the existing Carter Resource Centre. The Basement will house a Black Box, Production Studio, Media GPC, Instrument rooms, and Storage spaces. On the Ground Level, a Library Resource Centre, Meeting Rooms, and Entry Foyer. Level 1 will feature a Music Rehearsal Studio, Dance and Media Learning Areas. Level 2 will accommodate General Purpose Classrooms, Amenities, and an outdoor space. 

Scope of Service 

Gallagher Jeffs was engaged for full project management services across all project phases. This includes consultant appointment, briefing, concept design, schematic design, design development, tender procurement, contract negotiations and head contractor management.
