PROJECT BACKGROUND
Quay West located in Southbank Melbourne is jointly owned by the Quay West Owners Corporation (OC) and Accor Hotels. Part of their greater building maintenance and upgrade works programme, these works included the upgrades to the Ground foyer and plaza the refurbishment of corridors on all 22 levels of the tower. These works required a staged methodology to reduce impact on the residents and hotel guests.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Our scope of services includes independent project management and superintendent duties which included but was not limited to; implementation of processes and construction methodology, facilitation of design process, conduct a completive head contractor tender phase.
During construction, we assumed the role of superintendent, which included but was not limited to the administration of the construction contract; conducting meetings with the contractor; managing and monitoring the Contractor’s obligations under the Contract; providing monthly superintendent progress reports including cost reports.
OUTCOME
This project was delivered on time and on budget.
