PROJECT BACKGROUND
Yarra Valley Grammar is an independent coeducational school offering over 1000 students learning from ELC through to Year 12 on a single 29 hectare campus in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
The multi-level, multi-purpose Centre for Research project forms part of the 2020 Strategic Plan. The facility will comprise a new school entry, class areas, casual study areas, resource facility/library, a 180-seat chapel, rooftop terrace for up to 250 people, as well as the refurbishment of the adjoining administration building and a portion of the middle school building.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Project management services including, programming, procurement, coordination of consultants, chairing PCGs, advice on buildability, facilitating the preparation of further cost plans as design is developed, attendance at design meetings, project governance, Superintendent and project management tasks for the construction period.
The scope of works includes:
- Full refurbishment of existing Administration Building & part refurbishment of Middle School building
- New building over 4 levels
- Ground level and roof top landscaping
