Project background
GJ was nominated to undertake Project Management and Superintendent services for Kalyna Care, an established independent, not for profit aged care provider for residents with varying needs. They provide access to a range of quality assured facilities, as well as leisure and life programs that focus on maintaining health, wellbeing and traditions.
In response to Kalyna Care’s anticipated growth, Gallagher Jeffs is undertaking a Master planning exercise, forming part of the 10-year plan. Gallagher Jeffs represented Kalyna Care’s best interests for the following high-level phases of work:
- Master planning
- Redevelopment of existing dementia, high care, low level facility including car park relocation and administration upgrade
- Renovations and extensions to the domestic dementia wing Ancillary renovations to existing facility
- Providing development management service to maximise best use of the existing land and providing acceptable yield
- Reviewing ILU’s within the facility based on yield options
Gallagher Jeffs is driving the master planning exercise and facilitating town-planning, documentation, managing design development, development cost analysis and feasibility review, selecting and recommending head contract options.
