With the hotel rooms and corridors in need of refurbishment, Gallagher Jeffs was appointed to take over the management of the Four Seasons soft refurbishment project.

Gallagher Jeffs was engaged to take over the role of the incumbent project manager after the award of the construction contract, before works began on site.
Facing significant time pressure to maintain the project program, our first challenge was to address the domestic and international FF&E procurement schedule including items from the USA, India and China which were at risk of delaying the project.
The soft room refurbishment involved the replacement of furniture, fixed and loose joinery, beds, curtains, appliances and loose FF&E. Rooms and corridors also received fresh paint, lighting and carpet on each floor. The delivery of the works was managed to a staged programme with works being undertaken on 6 floors at a time while the remaining floors were occupied by hotel guests.
