Project management
The project included the sourcing of suitable land. The design and construction of this large scale project for Toyota Tsusho was then managed by Gallagher Jeffs.
The Facility included 2 x 10,000 m2 storage and distribution buildings, linked by a 5,000 m2 covered centre canopy. A National head office and administration building of (1,000 m2) was also provided.
Gallagher Jeffs prepared the detailed design brief for the design and construct works. Assistance was provided to the client with the successful negotiation for purchase of land from the design and construction contractor. The negotiation of a building price and contract was undertaken. Project management, contract administration, program monitoring, tracking, cost control, quality control/assurance inspection and reporting were all managed by Gallagher Jeffs. To complete the service, Gallagher Jeffs also negotiated the ‘lease make good’ of the client’s previous premises.
