Project background
The Facility was delivered under a Lease Back arrangement. The development consists of a purpose-built 25,000m2 warehouses for the storage and distribution of imported goods to 140 retail stores. The project also included a 600m2 administration office.
The store was significantly fitted out with various types of material handling and storage equipment and configured to suit future automation of many of the storage and material handling functions.Scope of services
Project management
The scope of services included the selection of suitable sites and the preparation of a comprehensive accommodation brief. Proposals were sought, vetted and a Developer selected.
The design and construct delivery process was managed and the Agreement to Lease administered. The Materials Handling and Storage equipment procurement process was managed by Gallagher Jeffs Consulting for the purchase of the necessary equipment, including pallet live storage, carton live storage and high bay racking.
The installation of telescopic boom conveyors and associated conveyor system also formed components of the project.
