Project background
The Reject Shop Distribution Centre was delivered under a Lease Back arrangement. The development consists of a purpose-built 26,000m2 warehouses for the storage and distribution of imported goods to 150 retail stores. The project also included approximately 550m2 of administration office
and ancillary support areas.
The facility was significantly fitted out with a state of the art materials handling and storage equipment and configured to suit future expansion the retail network
Scope of services
Project management
Our scope of services included the selection of suitable sites and the preparation of a comprehensive accommodation brief. Proposals were sought, vetted and a developer selected.
The design and construct delivery process was managed and the Agreement to Lease administered. The materials handling and storage equipment procurement process was managed by Gallagher Jeffs Consulting for the purchase of the necessary equipment, including automated conveying and sortation systems, order picking, pallet live storage, carton live storage and high bay racking.
Also part of our scope was the installation of telescopic boom conveyors.
